(as a carer),

On Sat 22nd June 2019, my family member required urgent assistance and a 'blue light' ambulance was sent. The 2 staff members - driver and paramedic I think, were Martin and Stevie. Their care and attitude were excellent. 

They gathered further information and were compassionate, informative, professional and reassuring with my family member. 

When we arrived at the hospital they came and updated me as to what was happening and that staff would come to see me soon.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback on CareOpinion. I am so sorry to read that your family member had reason to use our services. I do hope that they are on the road to a full recovery.

I am however very pleased to read that the crew treated your family member so well and were as professional as we would expect. It is always really nice to receive kind words like this. If you would like me to try and trace the call I can, this would allow me to pass on the details to the crews manager to let them know what a good job they are doing. I will need to know the date, time and location that the ambulance attended and the name of the patient. You can send this to alan.martin2@nhs.net.

Dear Excellent Ambulance Care from Martin & Stevie.

Please accept my thanks for your post relating to the care that they provided during their time with your family member. I note that Mr Alan Martin(Patient Experience Manager) has already posted asking for additional information and it would be great if you could send this on. I am the Head of Ambulance Services for Lanarkshire and I would be keen to personally thank the 2 members of staff
