"My first visit from NHS patient"

This was my first visit to the hospital.

I was welcomed at Reception and told who I would be seeing.

Something sadly lacking at other hospitals so this was a welcome treat.

The Consultant was extremely friendly and examined me asking first if I needed a chaperone.

I was sent to X-ray as he wanted to look at another problem as well as my hip.

The X-ray team were very professional.

Then an operation was suggested for both conditions and a date fixed.

What better treatment could you wish for.

If the operations and care from the staff is half as good I will be pleased.
