"I am so thankful"

The treatment I recieved at Torbay was absolutely fantastic. All the staff as a whole, were friendly, helpful and attentive. The surgeon and surgery team performed a life saving surgery on me. I will always remember this and will always feel so grateful for what they did for me. All the care I recieved on Forrest ward was exceptional. The HCA's were Very good with attending to care needs and monitoring my condition. The nurses were great at treating conditions and pain management.The Doctors were highly knoweledgable and efficient. All of the other staff, porters, admin, domestics do such a great job. The staff made me feel at ease the whole time I was there. The only thing that I felt could do with some improvement is the discharge process, as I was sent home with no discharge information, just a feedback questionnaire. It all felt really rushed and quite daunting a day after surgery. I have looked at the bigger picture though and could see that the ward were really being pushed for spare beds and was aware that the hospital were on high alert . Staff can't achieve the impossible, with already being so overstretched in all the hard work that they do day in day out. They truly are all stars. Thankyou to everyone at torbay hospital.
