"DISGRACE - NHS this shouldn't happen!"

About: Leicester General Hospital / Neurology

I am SO upset and disappointed for my partner who has seriously deteriorated over the last 8 months with MS. He had an MRI scan in March this year and received an appointment for 25th June 2019 to see his consultant for the results etc. Yesterday, 18/06, he received a letter saying that his appointment had been cancelled and a new appointment had been arranged for him for 24th MARCH 2020???? He really could do with seeing a consultant as soon as is possible as he has not yet been prescribed with anything as yet and it has been quite obvious that his symptoms have got a lot worse. We have both tried calling the MS nurse only to receive an out of date automated message (makes references to the 7th June part way in) which states that due to illness, the messages won't be picked up very often. Is there any way we can get an appointment soon for him please?
