I was greeted by a lovely nurse, lynne who went over things with me, I had to fast from midnight the evening before my operation, on administration at 8am I was told I was second on the list, then I was informed I was third, having to wait almost 8 hours, in the sitting room, before surgery, by this time I was in pain and also started to wilt, surly a better system could be in place to wait at home, before coming in, if we are having to have surgery in the afternoon it would be more comfortable and not get so stressed. I had fantastic care from the nurse, even a wee cuddle from her to wish me all the best, she was great. Made me feel cared for, thanks again lynne. My surgery was a success. x
