About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / General Medicine (wards 8, 10, 11, 14, 18 & 27)

(as a service user),

Staff caring but experience could be greatly improved i.e. menu given but food options not related to menu. Reality not marrying with reality.Sure it looks good in a presentation. Spaghetti with potato is poor choice. Only veg in 2 days was diced carrots. The food is neither nutritional nor wholesome.

Switches for lights etc out of reach which resulted in light above bed being left on until after midnight.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to share your feedback and it was reassuring to hear that you felt looked after by our staff.

However, I am sorry that you were disappointed with the food options available and will share your comments with my colleagues in the Facilities Team.

I appreciate your frustration at not being able to switch off the light above your bed and will also highlight this to the Facilities Team.

I hope that you are are now making a satisfactory recovery.
