After suffering a stroke last July I was referred to Coathill hospital for physiotherapy and occupational therapy the team there where amazing and helped me through a really difficult time. I was finding it hard to accept the changes I was going through and my family where finding it hard to accept the way I had changed. The staff at Coathill helped me understand how to cope with my feelings, by doing this my home life improved as I became more patient and adapted to life after a stroke. I cannot thank the staff enough for all the support and also the other members of the group I attended, we all built a strong bond during our time together and this was down to the staff again for their commitment on ensuring everyone had the chance to discuss things that where worrying us. So thank you North Stroke Team for everything myself and my wife and children would not have coped as well as we have without you!
