My son had a nasty accident at nursery and we were advised to take him to A&E. I took him to Kings Mill A&E and from the moment we arrived we both recieved excellent care.
He was sent to paediatric A&E and then to childrens ward. We had to wait till 6pm for him to go to theatre but were impressed with the beds recieved, toys available and care that we had.
After theatre he didn't come round very well so had the night there. He wanted milk shake to make him feel better and the nurses even made him some home made milkshake and found him some stickers for being a brave boy.
My son was in a room with another boy his age and both his mum and I stayed there as well, we were both offered bed and made comfy.
Breakfast was offered the next morning and when the doctor saw my son we could go home.
The hospital was clean and staff excellent
