Myself and partner attended the Out Of Hours GP (OOHGP) service following some bad advice from a pharmacist.
We telephoned the OOHGP triage service who answered the phone very quickly and were extremly polite and helpful. The GP rang us back within about 10 miniutes and asked us to go to them at the Bilton Grange Health Care Centre, which was about a 5 mile journey away, this was fine.
We attended the service and was greated by a very nice receptionist and asked to wait. The building was very clean and well designed, it was a very pleasant place.
We were seen by the GP within about 20 miniutes which we though was very quick considering it was an 'emergency' appointment.
The GP, Peter, was absolutley fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgable, showed genuine interest and compassion, we could not have asked to see a more professional or friendly GP. I would like to give a massive thank you to everyone who helped a very painful incident a much more bareable time.
