"Nonsense telephone protocols"

About: Dr A Naeem & Partners, the New Surgery

Phoned this morning to arrange call back from doctor to discuss x-Ray result. Told I needed to speak to my own doctor (who I’ve never seen or heard of) would not be in until tomorrow, explained that this has never happened in the past and that I had made arrangements to be available today but not tomorrow. Also asked why, if I had a appointment with any doctor I would get my results so why not today over the phone? I then asked to speak to the Practice Manager but was told immediately that they were busy, I asked how the person I was talking to knew and their response was, they would get them to call me back. I appreciate how busy the surgery is but it seems that speaking to people with this practice and others in the area, Practice Managers and receptionists seem on a mission to make life more frustrating when patients need advise/help. Just over the last couple of months our family have been upset and frustrated with your services. Also I would like to know why the voicemail message for the upstairs reception desk is so abrupt with no option to leave a message, not very good service in my opinion. Have been with this practice for over 30 years and until the last year have been happy, but something appears to have changed and not for the better.
