About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Maternity unit

(as a service user),

I cannot thank staff in triage, ward 7 and ward 8 (FVRH) enough. My daughter was born just over 3 weeks ago. All the midwives were fantastic, as well as the doctors. They were reassuring, friendly, but professional and explained everything to both myself and my partner along the way. In particular, Abby, Fiona, and Dr Heron, were brilliant. Both myself and my partner had great faith in them and they really made the experience a bit easier. Triage and community midwife Katie were amazing when I developed an infection and helped get it treated ASAP. 

The housekeeping staff and nursery nurse were really great too.

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter, a wonderful time for you and your partner.

I am sure these last 3 weeks will have just flown in so thank you so much for taking the time to post such fantastic feedback as I know how busy you will be. Hopefully your wee girl is not giving you too many sleepless nights.

It is great to hear that everyone had a positive impact on your care and made it a better experience for you and your partner. Having confidence in the staff looking after you makes all the difference.

I will share your praise with all areas and especially with the staff you have named. I know they will be over the moon to read it.
