"Waiting for a call that never happened"

About: The Lawson Practice

(as a service user),

Booked a telephone appointment via online services. Booked call on the day that I had my leave, took son to school and then waited for my call. Telephone appointment was booked just before 9. 30, waited, 9. 45, 10. 00 etc. Could have slept in, after all was my day off. Just before 1 pm, received a call which I missed, heard on voicemail that prescription had been sent to Pharmacy. What prescription?, I wanted to discuss an issue.

Apologies, this posting was 4 months ago, I'm not sure how I missed responding. I am so sorry, it would have been very helpful to have the details from you regarding this so that we could have looked to see what happened and then addressed the issue. It doesn't sound right and that is not the sort of response you should have received and now I have made it worse by failing to respond to your posting. If you do still remember the day it happened we can look back and try and work out what went wrong. Again, please accept our apologies.
