The length of time from first self referring and getting an actual appointment was too long. Once I got my first appointment I felt like the advisor was clock watching and this made me feel uncomfortable , I don't feel that the length of time is long enough to get your thoughts and feelings out and that all my advisor was focused on was going over the same CBT information each week. The weekly sheets you fill out are a waste of time as I feel this is what they go by and if you have had a good week then
I felt if you went into the low points you wanted to focus on so they could be improved they got dismissed and my advisor just repeated the same CBT info over and over each week. Then I had to cancel an appointment and due to change in circumstances I hadn't managed to rearrange a new appointment but instead of anyone calling me to check all was ok I just received a letter telling me I had been discharged so I would have to restart the whole process again. The one positive was the employment support advisor I saw...very helpful, never rushed, checked in regularly through emails to see how I was getting on but now that I have been discharged I can't recive advice from that person either now.
