I needed my maternity paperwork (MATB1 and travel clearance forms) before week 25 and the person in charge of allocating appointments was the most unhelpful referring me to my GP. My experience with the maternity section of other hospitals has been so much better, the midwifes in Queen Charlotte are always trying to help and helped me get the forms I needed. But St Mary's just refused to give me any alternatives to my GP, who then was unsure why I had been referred back to them and could not give me the forms I required... Generally, the midwifes are Ok once you have passed the front desk and have been allocated an appointment (that is the most difficult part). The facilities of the antenatal clinic are precarious, bathrooms never working properly and quite crowded.
