"mums stay in trinity"

Mum stayed in trinity ward she has vascular dementia and terminal bowel cancer.

This was a confusing time for mum the staff were wonderful welcoming calm so helpful and having a clear understanding of dementia was such a help.

The ward was so clean and the food fabulous.

They were efficient at booking mum in and completing the paperwork.

They all explained to mum why they were coming to see her giving time so not to worry her, they also gave a dementia computer which we used with mum and she enjoyed the tv.

Mums dignity was preserved at all times and they always gave her choice which is so important, with dementia it is easy for people to talk over the person suffering with this horrible illness but everyone treated mum wonderfully.

We are truly very lucky to have these wonder hospital staff. Bless them all
