"The staff do not get the recognition that they deserve"

About: Heartlands Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I was involved in a road traffic accident and was taken to Heartlands A and E dept as it was the nearest hospital to the accident. I was experiencing chest pain and was having difficulty taking deep breaths. I was in shock and was also feeling a little disorientated. The care that I received by everyone in the department was excellent and I cant thank the staff enough for everything that they did for me. My main Nurse, the lovely Emily was nothing but kind and considerate. The staff do not get the recognition that they deserve.

Good morning,

Everybody from the amazing ambulance team to the hardworking nurses and doctors were excellent, their kindness, care and support was outstanding, they helped me in a very disorientated and painful time with the upmost of professionalism.

They are a credit to your hospital and the NHS and I will remember this horrible time injured with a happier silver lining due to your wonderful staff.

I really wanted to show my appreciation and thanks for such excellence.
