What I liked

The ward was clean and the staff were really friendly and efficient.

What could be improved

It's always far too hot and I always get lost, it's a warren of corridors on different levels and some departments aren't always easy to find. The new section is a really bad design.

Thank you for your comments. We are delighted that you were treated with dignity and respect during your stay with us and that the hospital was very clean. We do try to work together to provide the best care and environment possible for our patients and your recognition of this is very much appreciated.

We are sorry that the hospital was hot, we do have air-conditioning in a lot of our ward and outpatient areas but there is still more work we need to do to get things right for all areas and we apologise that the areas that you experienced were not as comfortable as they should be.

It is a large hospital and we are working hard to get the signage right for everyone, we do ask all our staff to stop and help anyone who needs help and we have a fantastic team of volunteers who work during our busy times to direct people around the hospital. We are always grateful for any suggestions that come from patients and visitors that use our services in order to make improvements.
