(as a parent/guardian),

My son needed a doctors appointment he had woken in the morning with a cough and was having difficulty breathing (he was working really hard to breath) 

I called the Kilwinning medical practice and after a short conversation with the reception team we got passed to the triage team.

Vanessa called me back and we spoke through my son’s symptoms, Vanessa was really calm and caring on the phone and offered Ryan an appointment for the following hour which gave me time to get him ready.

He was seen by Dr Pollock who was fantastic, her manner with my son was lovely, he felt really at ease with her and he was able to explain how he was feeling, she treated him so well and was so calm and caring he received some treatment in the surgery before being referred to paediatrics for admission that day.

We did not feel rushed at all and unfortunately caused her to run late! 

I would like to say thank you to Vanessa and Dr Pollock for their help with getting my son the help he needed!
