"All staff are a credit"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

I was admitted for elective surgery (Cholecystectomy).  I was very anxious regarding going to theatre but the care and support Karen and her staff provided was absolutely exceptional.  All staff within Day Surgery Unit are a credit to the NHSL.  Melissa who carried out my admission was very professional and had a very caring personality which put me at ease.

Tamas and Rose from anaesthetics took the time to alleviate my anxieties and again are a credit to NHSL.

The surgeon who carried out the procedure was exceptionally professional and also put me at ease.

All theatre staff especially Margaret were all fantastic and I was cared for extremely well and cant thank them enough.

After my operation I was transferred to Ward 17 where the care I was given from Amanda and her team was also exceptional.

Due to the care and support I received, I would be less anxious if I had to have any further surgery and from the bottom of my heart, I cant thank everyone enough.
