I was staying with my Wife at a friend's house in Horsham when, after supper, I became unconscious for a few minutes and they called an ambulance. Local first responders arrived within minutes and the ambulance soon after. My BP and pulse were low and erratic so after thoroughly testing these the ambulance crew (who were both young girls from Australia) drove me and my wife the 45 minute journey to Redhill hospital.
I was immediately admitted to the emergency dept and seen straight away (late in the evening) where I underwent tests throughout the night and was diagnosed by a doctor early the following morning.
I could not have asked for better care from the nursing and medical staff who then arranged for us to move to the discharge suite where we were offered and gratefully accepted beds to rest before being given breakfast and new medication.
"I could not have asked for better care"
