"Awaiting results of sleep test."

About: Leicester General Hospital

Having had a monitor fitted and returned end of March I have heard nothing.

However having rung ant tried to leave a message on the answerphone which was full. I asked to be connected to the unit. I spoke to a lovely lady who assured me that I have not been forgotten but the consultants that deals with the results currently have a backlog but are working through the test results.

I would like to say whilst it is not brilliant that there is a backlog our NHS service is under pressure with a higher demand of patients and the same if not less staff. The staff at the unit were respectful honest helpful and caring and I felt like I was an individual and not just another monitor patient.
