"I feel for vunerable people that get sent here."

Over a year ago my CBT Therapist from Healthy Minds referred me for Secondary Care at the Sutherland Centre. I had to wait over 3 months just for an assessment where I was told by a Psychologist there I would be waiting no longer than 7 months to start my therapy.. well it's been 9 months and that doesn't include the waiting time for the assessment I had. I thought I was starting my therapy in May after receiving an appointment letter however, it was a check up with my Psychiatrist asking HOW MY THERAPY WAS GOING that I haven't even started yet. I've spoke to reception a couple of times about my concerns and they tell me I will be called back which NEVER happens. I was also told I would be sent some things in the post to get me started from home while I am waiting and they couldn't even follow this basic promise. I think upto now my GP has contacted them 3 times as well with no further luck/news.. ANYTHING. I intend to contact pals next, hopefully they will be able to help!
