"I was told I was overreacting to the pain"

I had the unfortunate experience in A& E of having a miscarriage. I was spoken to like I was absolute dirt, ignored after calling for help for 10 minutes and then passing out from the pain and then, as I managed to crawl to the bathroom as I was haemorrhaging, the nurses who treated me were sarcastic and rude and treated me like I was over reacting to the extreme pain. I was sobbing and telling them that something was wrong only to have a member of staff roll their eyes at me and laugh. I discharged as I was not going to get any sort of care nor humane treatment and was confirmed to have miscarried and needed to be rushed in for haemorrhaging. I am absolutely disgusted with L& D A& E staff and will be taking this complaint to the ombudsman.
