When I was taken in early September 2018 the treatment could not have been better, everyone from Paramedics picking me up through the attention the doctor showed and on to the ward and nurses, all excellent. I came back for what I was led to believe would be further stents but it was decided against that route. Then I felt a little lost, the whole system is overstretched and everything seems to take an eternity between departments, GP's etc, not wishing to be a over dramatic but at 70 I can't take too much time out of what is left and if surgery would provide an improvement on whatever condition my heart is in then I would rather it done now, it must have been considered as I had a meeting with Harefield consultants but nothing became of it. I have a further appointment at the end of the year where hopefully something will be resolved. On a huge plus, when I was assessed to join the Cardiac Risk Management programme then again the staff were incredible, very kind, thoughtful, caring but still pushed you to where your confidence returned, many thanks to the team.
