"First Class Care!!"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Emergency Department

I was sent to Medical Emergency Treatment by my GP.

The examinations & tests were thorough and the attention & care I received from all staff was exemplary.

A diagnosis was delivered by the Consultant & I was admitted to St Mawes Unit.

The excellent care continued for 5 days, and I was discharged with the problem resolved.

I cannot praise the entire experience highly enough, what a superb system.

My name is Jane and I am the Clinical Matron for the Emergency Department.

Thank you for your comments posted via the nhs.uk website. I am delighted to hear that your experience of ED was exemplary, we try hard to ensure our patients are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve and are treated in accordance with the National standards.

The department has been extremely busy of late and we have not always been able to deliver effective care in a timely manner, however, it would seem that we were able to do so in your case.

I am also pleased that your excellent care continued on St Mawes ward, which resulted in a positive experience for you.

Thank you once again and I hope you are making a speedy recovery.
