"Can't cope with this surgery anymore"

Today I have been on the phone for over 3 hours and still haven't actually spoken to a human being. I am trying to get my husband seen to assess an ear infection he has had for 4 weeks. he has seen 3 different health care professionals at 3 different locations and so far 3 different treatments. He is supposed to be having palliative chemotherapy but hasn't had it now for 4 weeks as he can't have it while he has an infection. Plus he is profoundly deaf and unable to use his hearing aid. His life is difficult enough without obstacles in the way of him getting the treatment he needs.
