Firstly saddened to see negative reviews let’s be honest a lot of the original long doctors have retired and or gone somewhere else another gone part time. So that bring in new changes also the system is trying to get more updated asking people to get PIN number etc and book online . The most frustrating thing is getting the phone answered but I’ve worked out you’ve got to be patient and wait for it to be answered . Remember if you are really ill and need to seen and can’t get appointment you can go to walk in centres or ask for for an emergency appointment ! Yes it takes time to get an appointment sadly having been a support worker and dealing with all doctors surgeries you’ll find they are pretty much booked up in advance . You’ve also got. To remember that people with ongoing health issues have to make booking to get their condition checked it’s not always run by nurses with all their appointments full too . I’m diabetic so I’m lucky I haven’t had to wait too long with regards to follow up clinic but it was delayed off and on as one doctors had to be off due to family illness and just remember all the doctors are human and have lives too try and be patient I’ve been here over 30 years and I would say the biggest thing they need to do here is employ someone just to take that calls alone and bad reviews doesn’t really help! But I’ve always been treated kindly and had a great service here we have a great surgery here in nice area. Be thankfully for what is here and see the true picture
