I attended a Surgical Pre-Assessment appointment at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy this week. Sian was the nurse who carried out my pre-assessment and was exceptional. I was nervous but she put me at ease straight away. She was professional throughout, a good listener, caring, sensitive and informative. I feel less nervous about my forthcoming procedure as Sian instilled me with confidence.
