"Long wait and impossible to get hold of"

I had my initial appointment at the beginning of the year and the follow up procedure was arranged fairly quickly so I was very thankful.

A follow up appointment should have been arranged a few weeks after the procedure however I didn't receive details so started to call to chase. The phone was never answered, I once got a voice mail option but didn't receive a call back so finally got an email address from my GP and a reply a few days later saying they would book my appointment (two weeks late).

Awaiting my operation date, I contacted them again to find out a time estimation, again it took me days to get through and I was told they had lost my booking form.

I am still waiting for an appointment and now the phone message says if you are awaiting an appointment please wait for it to come through the post.
