"Fantastic staff and impressive efficiency."

I visited the Accident and Emergency and Radiography departments last week with a foot injury and as a result I was fast-tracked to surgery three days later. From the catering staff and nurses to the anaesthetists and consultants every staff member I encountered throughout the hospital, without exception, was completely professional and demonstrated genuine compassion and concern for my comfort and recovery. At all times I had the feeling that I was in completely safe hands. Given the obvious pressures placed on NHS staff by increasing demand and limited budgets it is amazing that such high standards of continued cheerfulness and supportive team-work can be maintained. I would just like to express my personal gratitude and to let you know , as have many others on this web-site , that all your hard work is very much appreciated. I realize that individual staff names cannot be included and will be writing separately to say thank you to those whose names I was able to note down and remember.
