I saw my GP on 29th Jan who referred me to Warwick for a Gastroscopy and X-ray which I had within a week. On the same day as the X-ray I was contacted by the Lung specialist nurse as the result had shown an abnormality and was asked to attend for a CT scan the following day. I was then given an appointment for a lung functionality test the next day and an appointment to see a doctor afterwards. A few tests more over the next couple of weeks and then I saw the Consultant oncologist who explained the diagnosis/treatment plan in great detail. I then started my treatment of immunotherapy the following week. The treatment I have received has been amazing. I have been kept informed at each stage and appointments have been followed up by letters from the Consultants plus information packs to take home. All my appointments have been timeous and I have been dealt with in a dignified and caring manner by all. I cannot praise them enough.
