I had a major operation on 20 -3-19, and spent a month on ward 17 after 3 days in ICU. The doctors and Nurses and all staff went out of their way to care for me,
I was a patient of a surgeon and his team, I was difficult at times, but the care staff still cared for me in a kind dignified manner,
From Day staff to night staff they were brilliant, and explained everything to me, I couldnt of wished for better care. Bed side manner of the Doctors was always kind and explained everything if i wasnt sure, I was treated in a kind dignified way.
I would say i would of normally hated being in Hospital for a month but all the staff made this more bearable, withe their happy smiling faces. When i was leaving, they made sure i had every thing i needed to make my life easier on the outside, Phone numbers for different people appointments, and supplied me with plenty of my high calorie drinks, All in All i have to say this was the best Hospital i had been to, and i have plenty of experience of Hospitals in Stoke and Newcastle upon Tyne.
