"Having my baby"

About: Borders General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I was admitted in latent labour and had my first child, a son the next day.

The care and professionalism shown by the whole team- labour suite, ward 17 and anaesthetists - was exceptional and without fault. All performed above and beyond offering support, encouragement, expertise and care. My husband and I were impressed and grateful for everything that was done for us. We cannot remember or know all of the names of the people who cared for us and for that we are sorry. Some of those whom were part of our care were Morag, Nikki , Ann, Susie, Kerrie, Eunice and Dawn .

Thank you to all.
