I am writing in relation to your colleague, Ms Sweet.

Over the past months Ms Sweet has been assigned to assist and guide my wife during a very stressful and demoralising period dealing with the CMHT.

During the early stages of the fact finding meetings with Ms Sweet we both found her to be very thorough with an skilful ability to make sense and document a free flowing conversation with my wife with total professionalism and sensitivity.

Ms Sweet always made my wife feel at ease and reassured her that she was available to help guild with any up coming CMHT meetings.

In order to encapsulate the totally professional and simultaneous empathetic approach that Ms Sweet gave to my wife's case is shown in the outcome of the long awaited appointment with Dr M in which unfortunately due to work commitments Ms Sweet was unable to attend, but following a meeting with my wife we compiled a discussion check list which gave Louise the guidance and confidence to attend the appointment with Dr M on her own .

Following the successful appointment my wife commented that she was only able to see the appointment through because using the bullet points compiled with Ms Sweet "it felt as if she was there with me ".

So to close I would like to thank Ms Sweet for her knowledgeable and professional care throughout these testing times and also a appreciation that the Advocacy Support Cymru are there to help which we have no doubt without such an organisation the outcome would have been a lot less satisfactory.
