I entered the Neurology Unit under the care of my consultant following a seizure on 17th December and having been transferred from Euston where a Tumour was diagnosed. I had an Embolism procedure on 21st December and then the major operation to remove the tumour on 3rd January. The operation had complications and I was in the High Dependency Unit overnight. I awoke to a wonderful nurse and was looked after very well by her and many other wonderful staff of many nationalities all with dignity and warmth. I was on steroids and other medication and the recovery was difficult with very little sleep and bad dreams when I did. But the care of all of the staff in Molly Lane ward continued to be fantastic and the consultant and his team looked after me very well. I was discharged on January 12th and I am now in my 6th month off recovery. I wish everyone to know how good they were and are.
"Great Care"
