I will say that waiting times and conditions could be much better BUT I am also aware of the strains the system is under.
I note that some patients are not happy with the long wait in clinics however every appointment letter I have received makes clear that I should expect to be there for 3 hours.
Even within this time frame I have frequently had staff apologise for the long waits.
Over the last year I have so far undergone 4 operations to save my sight, and numerous clinic appointments, at times having needed to attend the hospital 3 times within a week.
The staff are friendly helpful and remain calm even when they have people constantly moaning at them and sometimes enduring some extremely rude patients.
I personally have nothing but praise for the care I have received.
Thank you LRI for the gift of sight!
"Fantastic service given the strains staff are..."
