"88 year old lady with same repeat prescription..."

My mother is unfortunate to be a patient at this practice. She is 88 years old and ever since she was diagnosed with glaucoma which was severe at diagnosis and has lost sight in one eye n partial in the other has been on eye drops. She obviously is very particular about timings of her eye drops understandably as she doesn't want to loose the little sight she has. YET for nearly 9 years now her repeat prescription has been a constant issue. 90% of the time it is not acted on in a timely manner leaving her worried about not having any as surgery shut. I rang chemist today as we already went yo collect again and not to our surprise it hadn't arrived. Told to ring back at 3pm not not there it's not coming today. Eye drops finish today. Advised to ring 111 to get a prescription. This is shocking. Sort your processes out. I will be ringing Monday to speak to the practice manager even though I already complained n nothing's changed it's a disgraceful service to offer public

You are giving the NHS a bad name I have worked for nhs hot 36 years as nurse and would never let this happen so repeatedly for nearly 9 years it is truly appalling
