"Car Parking Rip-Off"

My wife has just received an £85.00 parking fine for using the car park for 20 minutes to collect a prescription for me. We received it today. Date for 50% discount ends today. Both my wife and I were totally unaware of the introduction of parking charges or need to register a vehicle. She was NOT told by reception. Nor have we received any notification by text, phone or letter. We have been patients of the centre for 4 years without any previous issues. My wife has English as a second language and would not have been able to understand any parking notices. WE ARE ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGED BY THIS UNCOMMUNICATED CHANGE IN POLICY. WHY WAS IT INTRODUCED??? IS IT PART OF THE "HIGHEST STANDARD OF CARE IN A FRIENDLY & COURTEOUS MANNER" you quote in your flyer? How many more people have you caught out with this one?
