"Disappointed with my whole experience"

About: Barlborough NHS Treatment Centre

Having been under the care at Barlborough treatment centre for 9 months I can only say what a big disappointment and waist of time and NHS money!

This place was recommended to me by lots of people but I have no idea why.

Mistakes were made along the way from being discharged with the wrong leg on my notes and them saying to me to have an appointment six weeks after being in theatre., sadly this never happened. I had to visit them to bring it to their attention three months after, and I was told that I had been forgotten about.

They requested another MRI scan which had to be rescheduled. Was then referred to a different consultant who did not examine me but bluntly brought my visits to an end.

There was no patient care.

Was even told to get a second opinion from another hospital!

There was not even a thankyou. The conclusion is that I continue to encounter constant severe paint, and left the treatment centre with my friend who accompanied me in shear disbelief.

The process will now start again by going back to my own GP.

I now question myself as to why I chose Barlborough treatment centre in the first place?

One thing is for certain I won't ever go back there again.

9 months has been wasted.
