I had the most upsetting experience at this hospital after being referred by the N.H.S.for total shoulder replacement. I was made to feel really awful. After initially being given a date for an operation, went through the whole process of having tests x -rays and other procedures only to be informed that I am too HEAVY for the procedure to go ahead and made to feel embarrassed and very disappointed in the handling of my care. I would suggest that this hospital should DEFINE AND DISCUSS THE WEIGHT LIMITATIONS at the beginning of the process and not at the END So as not to cause distress and delay in treatment. I now have to possibly wait for MONTHS to receive the much needed care that was promised at the start of this whole process AND BE DIVERTED TO AN N.H.S. hospital for my treatment. I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH THIS TREATMENT AT ALL.
"Awful communication between departments !"
