I was sent to the dermatology dept with a server skin condition which left my with spilt skin and bleeding every time I moved, not very good as hiv poz, I was basically ignored by the doctor who just looked at his phone all the time, I was eventualy put on tablets used to treat lukemeia and had to have monthly blood tests before the next tablets would be issued. I was told I could not take the tablets no longer than 6 months as they cause side effects, I was on the tablets 10 months and had to stop taking them myself due to chest pain and numbness aftyer taking them each week. I had three appointments cancelled by the dept and have now found out the dept has closed.(news room south east) no one has ever told me it was closing and what to do next. the skin condition returned within a week of stopping the tablets so done me no good at all. all of this when I had to travel from new romney ( 70 miles ) away each time and then told to come back the next day to pick up tablets from pharmacy , which is a totally different complaint,
"waste of time not listened to and ignored"
