I am really saddened to be writing a negative review as we are all lucky to have the NHS. . I arrived in a and e and was seen by a lovely nurse who could clearly see I was in a great amount of pain. I was then passed over to the urgent treatment area By the main entrance. There where clearly staffing issues and when I did get to a nurse she highlighted this fact also stating they had only 1 doctor. I was understanding and sympathetic but felt like I was just being rushed through. I would not have come to a and e if I was not I vast amounts of pain and worried by it. The nurse didn't do any checks for what mobility I had, ask how much pain I was in, where the pain was located. Ask for any history of back issues.... You know basic first aid! I understand being understaffed but I just felt like they wanted me out of there. I ended up crying leaving the hospital as I was in that much pain and received no help.
