My husband is currently being cared for on Twyford ward at Tiverton Hospital. He is dying, and has been transferred here from the Royal Devon and Exeter. They treated him very well too but it was just a little busier and less personal.
I have nothing but praise for the hospital and all the staff who've cared for my husband. They treat him with the utmost dignity, and his room is private and quiet. My family and I are welcomed, and we're kept informed of what's going on with his care at every step. He is kept pain free and comfortable as much as is possible, and I believe they do everything they can for him.
Our GP, Dr Savill, who operates out of the surgery next door to the hospital is equally wonderful and has been a huge help to me.
In my husbands circumstances, it's my opinion that Tiverton Hospital is the best place that he could be.
