"Acute Medical Unit"

Just released from this unit after suffering from chest pains. Although it took 5 hours to be originally assessed, when admitted the entire process was outstandingly professional. Doctors, nurses, administrators and porters made me feel special and was treated with all courtesy and consideration. During the following day and a half of intensive investigation and associated medication the pains reduced considerably. Referral to the Cardiac Unit has been arranged for a scan to complete the investigation at a later date to be on the safe side. I am confident that the entire process was designed for my well-being. I would particularly like to thank the Senior Nurse and her team for their care and consideration in making my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as it could be.
