My husband was admitted on April 28th after taking ill at our local service station. An ambulance was on the scene within minutes whilst the telephone operator kept us calm on line. First class paramedics. Admitted to A&E and dealt with promptly, then moved to AAU where again the staff immediately gave him medication to help while they tried to find out what was wrong. Very quickly scanned & diagnosed and was checked by consultant cardiologist regularly. We were kept informed every step of the way. After being diagnosed things took a bit of a sinister turn but within 5 minutes he was rushed into CCU and Thrombolised which saved his life.
What we would have done without these very clever and specialised people I don’t know. I cannot express how grateful we are for saving his life, and they truly don’t get enough recognition for what they do x it’s shame we can’t name each one individually because everyone from start to finish excelled themselves in saving his life.
"From start to finish"
