My elderly mother was taken by ambulance to the Royal Blackburn Hospital a week ago. She had a seizure and was confused and disoriented. From the time when the paramedics arrived at her house we, as family, felt safe in their care. On arriving at hospital the handover to the hospital staff was seamless. As we progressed through the various tests and departments, A and E, Radiology and then on to the ward for assessment we were treated with respect and dignity. I felt my mother was in safe hands and wish to thank all the staff. Even when you were very busy (and you were most of the time!) you had the time to explain what was happening.
