About: Barlborough NHS Treatment Centre

I must admit I was a little apprehensive when making my way through the doors of your treatment centre, but I needn't have been because the first person I saw was a gentleman on the reception desk greeting me with the broadest smile which made me smile back and I thought what a welcome.

Next a lovely nurse who was just coming on duty showed me the way to my ward also with a lovely smile.

From then on I felt like I was in. 5 star hotel.

Everyone from the domestic ladies through to the ward nurses, theatre staff and the surgeon who gave me a new lease of life with a total hip replacement. I thank each and everyone of you..

Your smiles are infectious.

Oh and not forgetting the great food with a never ending menu , every meal was delicious.

Thank you for your lovely feedback on the Barlborough NHS Choices website.

We all know what a daunting experience coming into Hospital can be, especially for major surgery like a hip replacement.

All of our staff try to make patients feel as at ease as possible in a professional but friendly, safe and clean environment.

We always like it when this is achieved as it shows everyone is working together to achieve the same goal - a happy patient!
