Several years ago we moved home and around this time I gave birth to my baby girl. I have had regular contact with the NHS after being diagnosed with a mental illness in the early 90’s I have had this illness for nearly 24 years it’s actually 23 but nearly the 24 years mark.
I am writing this as requested by my husband to tell of my experience as difficult as it is I would would like to tell you that my experience with the Mental Health Professionals at East and West Brig in Galashiels the Scottish Borders is a good place to start if it is necessary for you to seek help in which I did.
There are mental health care professionals in London also. I can not describe to you how important it is to take your medication if you need it? The East and West Brig Doctors have been very helpful to me. Along with my medicine as you know moving house can be stressful. I think I had a mental breakdown again just moving home. I hope this is of help to someone who possibly is seeking help as I have.
Please never give up trying to help yourself if recovery is at all possible.
