"Professionalism, dedication and efficiency"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

Having suffered a bad fall whilst getting out of the shower, I needed to get checked the next day at QEUH ED as the pain was still quite severe. I booked in at 8.30am and was taken almost straight away into triage. A short time later the Doctor saw me and examined me, and sent me for a knee x-ray.

From start to finish I was in the hospital less than 2 hours (including x-ray) and the service was fantastic - I couldn't fault it. From an NHS member of staff who works in the QEUH it was weird being on the other side, but cant thank you enough for your  professionalism, dedication and efficiency with my treatment. Keep up the fantastic work.

Dear Janny1972

Thank you for your feedback on the care you received during your visit to the Accident and Emergency department in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

It must have felt strange being a patient in the hospital that you work in but I’m glad you’re experience was a positive one and that the care you received was of such a high standard.

I will pass your feedback onto the department as the staff will certainly appreciate your kind words.

Best Wishes

Lesley
