"twin antenatal appointments"

About: City Hospital / Maternity care

I am pregnant with twins throughout scans midwifes have been concerned with one of twins weight as it is 20% lighter than the other and one of the twins has a slightly enlarged kidney got referred to FMU had scan was told there was no reason to worry about kidney as fluid and other factors regarding it were normal but baby was on the smaller side and would need monitoring and would look at delivering at 34 weeks went for second FMU scan and was seen by someone different they are now telling me need to go back to monitor the kidney but no mention of baby's weight and need to look at delivery at 36 weeks how can the same unit in the hospital have very different opinionated versions of what is actually going on with one of my babies not happy with this at all then each time I mention to my consultant I would like to opt for a planned c section as I struggle with afterbirth as in the past it has ruptured on 1 occasions and nearly on a second and there are 2 to deliver this time she just brushes me off with (let's see how things go) I am not happy with the treatment from them at all there's no consistency
